Bob Jones University freshman forward Anna Daulton was named National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) division two player of the week for the 2nd time in three weeks.

"Anna continues to play incredibly well and has made the most of her opportunities to help the team," BJU Bruins women's soccer coach Chris Carmichael said. "She has been very accurate in finishing her goal-scoring chances, and her teammates have been a great support in find her on the field."

Daulton leads the team with nine goals in her first season of competition with the Bruins. She helped secure a 3-1 victory over Tennessee Temple University last weekend by recording the first-ever hat trick by a freshman in the history of Bruins soccer. Daulton scored her first goal off an assist from Kaitlyn Hummel and then struck again minutes later on a one-on-one opportunity. She notched the hat trick later in the second half as she gave the Bruins a 3-1 win at home. Daulton also added an assist in the 5-0 defeat of Laurel University last week giving her 3 goals and 1 assist for the week.

Although coming off the bench, Daulton has been an energetic spark in fueling a high-powered Bruins offensive attack. The team is 9-3-2 on the season, and will host Florida College on Thursday night in Greenville, South Carolina.
