The Bruins will be back in the Davis Field House on Saturday afternoon as they welcome region-rival Trinity Baptist College. The Bruins come into the game after dropping their season opener to Piedmont College last Saturday. The Bruins were scheduled to play Piedmont again on Thursday in Georgia, but the game was canceled due to COVID precautions.
Trinity Baptist enters Saturday's game at 1-0 on the season after defeating Trinity College 76-53 in their season opener. Tyrece Freeman led the Eagles with 17 points in the win as four Eagles scored in double figures.
This will be the ninth meeting between the two programs with the Bruins owning a 6-2 record against the Eagles. Last season, the Bruins defeated TBC in both meetings of the season.
Tip-off for the game is set for 3 p.m.
