Â
Bob Jones University is blessed to have tremendous athletic facilities for students, faculty and staff and athletes to use. God has blessed in giving the University state-of-the-art equipment and beautiful facilities to be used for His glory.Â
Alumni Stadium
Alumni Stadium is so named for the Alumni who built the stadium for the University. It houses four soccer fields, a 1/4 mile track for competitive and recreational running, two sand outdoor volleyball courts, and an activity pavilion with two outdoor basketball courts. The field has a seating capacity of 4,500 spectators for Bruins home games. Â
Davis Field House
The Davis Field house was opened in 2004. It was named in honor of Mr. and Mrs. David D. Davis, who were on the board of trustees at the University from 1972-2002. This 90,000 square-foot facility houses three college-sized basketball courts/four volleyball courts, a large swimming pool, indoor running track (1/7 of a mile), a ladies fitness center, classrooms for the Division of Sport Management and Exercise Science and the offices for the BJU Bruins athletic program. It can house up to 4,000 spectators for Bruin home games. This facility is accessible to all current students, faculty and staff and alumni association members. Â Â
Conestee ParkÂ
The Bruins baseball team plays their home games at Conestee Park in Greenville, South Carolina. This stadium served as the home field for the Greenville Braves (AA affiliate of the Atlanta Braves) from 1984-2004. During that span, notable greats such as Tom Glavine, Chipper Jones, Andruw Jones, and David Justice all played for the Greenville Braves. The Bruins athletics department has been working in conjunction with Greenville Parks and Recreation to revitalize the stadium.Â
Fitness Centers
Located in the Davis Field House and Fremont Fitness Center, the men and women each have workout spaces equipped with aerobic and strength and conditioning equipment. This is accessible to all current students and faculty/staff members, and members of the Alumni Association. Â Â
