The Bruins basketball team will wrap up the first semester of play on Tuesday night as they welcome Piedmont College to the Davis Field House. Due to the semester ending and a lack of game day support staff, attendance will be closed to fans.
The Bruins come into the game on the heels of a tough loss to Campbellsville-Harrodsburg on November 17. The Bruins are 1-2 on the season and meet Piedmont College for the second time this young season. The Bruins and Lions were scheduled for another game on November 12, but the game was postponed due to COVID precautions.
In the season-opener, the Lions stormed out to an early lead and never looked back as they rolled to an 88-64 win over the Bruins. Freshman Dominic Owens led the Bruins with 12 points while fellow freshman Kenney Garrick had 10 points and 5 rebounds in the loss.
The Lions come into Tuesday's game at 1-1 on the season after a loss to East Texas Baptist University on November 14. Tip-off for Tuesday's game is scheduled for 5 p.m. in Greenville, South Carolina.
