It's been a week and a half since the Bruins last took to the pitch against Furman University, but they are back in action Saturday night against South Region Rival Trinity Baptist College.
The two schools met earlier in the season in Greenville, with the Bruins running away with a 4-0 victory with goals coming from Victor Oladipo (x2), Jean Carrero and Mario Figueroa.
The Bruins are 10-2-2 overall this season and enter Saturday's South Region match undefeated in conference play going 3-0 on the season. In their last match, Trinity came away with a 3-1 win over Toccoa Falls on October 14 to improve their record to 3-6 overall and 3-3 in conference play. The Eagles play back to back games this weekend as they travel across the state to face Pensacola Christian College on Friday before heading back to Jacksonville, Florida to take on the Bruins.
Saturday's match will be the 11th time the two sides have met with the Bruins holding the 6-3-2 record. This weekend's game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. in Jacksonville, Florida.
