Bruins Spoil Homecoming for Trinity Baptist College with 7-0 Victory

It was another South Region win for the Bruins as they picked up a 7-0 victory against Trinity Baptist College Saturday night in Jacksonville, Florida. This was the second meeting between the two South Region teams this season with the Bruins picking up clean sheets in both contests. With tonight's win, the Bruins improve to 11-2-2 overall and 4-0 in conference play.

"I am very happy with the team's performance," said Coach Greg Fulton. "There were countless distractions that could have caused this game to be a real trap for us, but the team came out controlling the game from start to finish. We had a week and a half off due to a cancellation and we picked up right where we left off!"

Forward Jordan Crews picked up a brace in the first half to help give the Bruins the 4-0 lead going into the half.

As the second half kicked off, both teams looked to get the ball in the back of the net, but it was Victor Oladipo with just over 22 minutes remaining who would increase the lead for the Bruins to five.  The Bruins would go on to score two more goals from Victor Oladipo and Gasheed Lareche to leave Jacksonville with a 7-0 victory.

Coach Fulton says that now it's time to "focus on our last home game before we switch our attention on a post-season run!"

The Bruins take on Montreat College next Saturday night at Alumni Stadium for the final home game of the regular-season before they host the regional tournament the first week of November.
