Weekend Preview: BJU vs Presbyterian College and Warren Wilson College

The Bruins basketball team will play back to back games this weekend as the team will be on the road at Presbyterian College on Friday before hosting Warren Wilson College on Saturday night. 

The Bruins come into the weekend at 1-3 on the season after picking up their first win with a 90-82 victory over Brevard College on Tuesday night. Five players scored in double figures for the team with Devin Dean leading the way with 24 points and 8 rebounds in the win. 

On Friday, the Bruins will face the Blue Hose who come into the game at 5-3 on the season, including winning three of their last four games. PC has been led by Rayshon Harrison as the sophomore is averaging 19.5 points per game this season.

This will be just the second meeting between BJU and PC with the last meeting coming back in the 2014-15 season. Tip-off for the game is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Templeton Center in Clinton, South Carolina. 

On Saturday, the Bruins return home as they welcome Warren Wilson College to the Davis Field House. The Owls come into the weekend at 0-4 after back to back losses to Oglethorpe and North Carolina Central prior to Thanksgiving. 

This will be the 14th meeting between the Bruins and Owls with BJU owning a 7-6 record against Warren Wilson. The Bruins also currently are riding a three-game winning streak against the Owls but the two programs haven't played against one another since the 2019-20 season. 

Saturday's game is set to begin at 7 p.m. in the Davis Field House in Greenville, South Carolina.
