The Bruins will be back at home on Tuesday night as the team welcomes Piedmont University to the Davis Field House. The Bruins enter the game at 2-4 on the season having picked up wins over Brevard College and Warren Wilson College last week.
Devin Dean led the way for the Bruins as the junior guard averaged 22 points, 7 rebounds and over 3 assists in the three games for the team last week. His best performance came on Saturday night as he scored a career best 32 points while shooting 88% from the field in the win over Warren Wilson.
Piedmont University comes into Tuesday's game at 3-1 on the season, having won two of their last three games. The Bruins and Lions met earlier this season with Piedmont defeating BJU 83-70 on November 5. Three players scored in double figures for BJU, but the Lions were able to pull away late for the win.
This will be the sixth meeting between the two programs with the Bruins posting an 0-5 record against the Lions. Tuesday's game will tip-off at 7 p.m. in the Davis Field House in Greenville, South Carolina.
