The Bruins will wrap up the regular season at home on Saturday afternoon as they welcome Johnson University (TN). The Bruins come into the game having won three of their last five as the team sits at 4-7 overall. The team is coming off a loss earlier in the week to Carolina University 92-76. Devin Dean led the Bruins with 19 points while Hayes Brush finished with a double-double 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Johnson University (TN) comes into Saturday's game ranked #2 overall in the NCCAA DII national ranking. The Royals are 10-6 on the season but have been on a hot streak winning nine of their last ten games.
Earlier this season, the Bruins and Royals met in Knoxville, Tennessee, with Johnson (TN) running away with the game in the second half in a 100-77 win. Saturday will be the tenth meeting between the two programs with the Bruins owning a 5-4 all-time record against Johnson (TN), but the team is currently riding a three game losing streak against the Royals.
Both teams will look to finish the regular season strong as thr Royals and Bruins take the court on Saturday with tip-off scheduled for 4 p.m.
