It's a South Region showdown this weekend as the Bruins men's soccer team travels to Florida to take on Pensacola Christian College Saturday, October 2.
The men's soccer team comes into Saturday's game 6-2-1 after a big win at Pfeiffer University last weekend. Last Saturday's game saw five different players on the score sheet as the team played to a 5-2 victory.
Pensacola last played on Tuesday, September 28 where they were blanked 6-0 by the University of West Florida. The Eagles are now 2-7 on the season.
Saturday's meeting will mark the eighth time the two sides have faced off. The Bruins have only won two of the previous matches with the last victory coming on October 3, 2020 where Charlie Barkman scored the golden goal in double overtime to give the Bruins the 1-0 victory.
Saturday night's match is scheduled to kickoff at 8 p.m.
