The Bruins men's soccer team travels to Mount Vernon, Georgia on Wednesday to take on Brewton-Parker College in a mid-week match. The Bruins go into Wednesday's game with a 1-0-1 record after last Saturday's double-overtime game ended in a 0-0 draw.
The two sides met last October in dramatic fashion. In the pouring rain, Eli Solomon scored the golden goal in the 97th minute to win the match 4-3 for the Bruins. Solomon already has one goal on the season, scoring the overtime game-winner in the season opener at Southern Wesleyan on September 2. Can he add another one against the Barons?
Brewton-Parker enters the match 0-4-1 with their most recent game ending in a 5-0 loss to Columbia International University Monday evening.
Wednesday's Bruins vs Barons tilt is scheduled to kick off at 7pm.
