The Bruins basketball team will be back in action on Thursday afternoon as the team faces off against Keiser University in Babson Park, Florida. The Bruins come into the game at 4-7 on the season on the heels of a tough loss to Webber International on Tuesday. The Bruins had three players score in double figures, but it wasn't enough as Webber pulled away late to hand the Bruins their first loss of the new year.
On Thursday, the Bruins will face the Keiser Seahawks for just the second time in program history. In their last meeting during the 2017-18 season, Keiser won in convincing fashion as the team hit 19 three-pointers (second most in program history) en route to a 113-72 win.
The Seahawks enter Thursday's game at 7-7 on the season having won two of their last three games including an 89-55 win over Vermont Technical College on December 29. Keiser has four players averaging in double-figures in scoring this season with Core'von Lott leading the way with 13.8 points per game.
The Bruins will look to get back into the winning column on Thursday with tip-off scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Sabbagh Athletic Center in Babson Park, Florida.
