After an exciting Tuesday home match, the men's soccer team makes the trip up to North Carolina to face Warren Wilson College Thursday evening.
Bob Jones had a big win against a tough Carolina University Tuesday night. They saw themselves down a goal early in the game, but responded with four unanswered to take the 4-1 victory.
The Bruins come into Thursday's match with momentum as they are currently on a five-game winning streak to see their season record sit at 5-3-1 overall. This will be game three of four in seven days for the men's soccer team. Coach Fulton said his needs to have "the mindset to attack and win the next game and then recover. Our team collectively is really coming together and it's exciting to see."
Warren Wilson enters Thursday's match 1-7-1 on the year with their only win coming back on September 3 against Huntingdon College. Their last match resulted in a 4-0 loss to Johnson & Wales University on Saturday.
Thursday's contest will be the first time that the two programs have met. The Bruins and Owls were slated to meet last season, but the game was canceled. The match is scheduled to kick off at 5 p.m. up in Asheville, North Carolina.
