The Bruins basketball team will wrap up the week with another South region matchup as the team faces rival Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Florida, on Saturday night.
The Bruins come into the game on the heels of a win over Southeastern Baptist College on Thursday as the team improved to 5-1 in region play on the season and 9-10 overall. Henry Blair and Eli Cupples led the Bruins combining for 42 points in the win.
Pensacola enters Saturday's game at 5-12 on the season and 4-6 in region play. The Eagles came up with a big win on Thursday night as they upset Trinity Baptist College who had come into the game at perfect 6-0 in region play on the season. Pensacola had four players score in double-figures in the win with Christian Porter and Anthony Horton leading the way with 12 points each.
Saturday's game between the Bruins and Eagles will be the 16th matchup between the two programs as the Bruins hold a 9-6 record overall against PCC. The Bruins currently have a 7-game winning streak against PCC, but the team is just 3-4 in their history playing at the Arlin R. Horton Sports Center.
