The Bruins basketball team will wrap up the regular season on Saturday afternoon as the team welcomes Trinity Baptist College to the Davis Field House.
It's senior day for the Bruins as the team will honor their lone senior Daniel Fuller before the start of the game. Fuller is a captain on the team this year and has been an impact player throughout his four-year career with the Bruins.
The Bruins come into the game at 10-11 on the season and 6-2 in region play following a tough loss in overtime to Toccoa Falls College on Monday. Despite having a lead for much of the game, the Bruins couldn't hold off a late rally by the Screaming Eagles. Henry Blair led the Bruins with 19 points in the loss.
Trinity Baptist enters Saturday's season finale after playing Toccoa Falls College on Friday night. The Bruins and Eagles last met on January 10 in Jacksonville, Florida, as the Bruins came up short in a 60-57 loss. In that game, the Bruins struggled offensively shooting just 30% from the field and 17% from three-point range.
The game on Saturday will be the 13th meeting between the Bruins and Eagles with BJU owning a 7-5 record against TBC, including winning four of the last five and posting a 5-1 home record against the Eagles.
Tip-off for Saturday's game is set for 2 p.m.
