The Bruins basketball team returns to the Davis Field House on Tuesday night as the team welcomes Toccoa Falls College for a South region matchup. The Bruins come into the game on the heels of a tough loss to Brevard College on Friday night.
While four players scored in double figures against Brevard, an 18-0 run in the second half proved too much to overcome as the Bruins fell to 7-10 on the season. The Bruins have played well in region play as the team sits at 3-1 on the season. The team has had to bounce back after being off for nearly three weeks due to COVID.
On Tuesday, the Bruins will welcome Toccoa Falls College as the Screaming Eagles enter the game at 12-12 on the season and 3-3 in region play. Toccoa comes into the game after defeating Southeastern Baptist College on Saturday.
This will be the 18th matchup between the Bruins and Screaming Eagles with the Bruins owning a 15-2 record including a 10-game winning streak against Toccoa Falls.
Last season, the Bruins edged the Screaming Eagles in back to back games during the season but the Screaming Eagles advanced to the NCCAA DII South Region Championship where they came up just short in a loss to Southeastern Baptist College.
Tip-off for Tuesday's game is set for 7 p.m. in Greenville, South Carolina.
