The men's soccer team continued preparing for the 2022 season with a hard-fought preseason match at Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina.
"We learned a lot about ourselves during this game," said men's soccer Head Coach Greg Fulton. "With several key players unavailable for the match, we were able to really see who would step in and lead against a tough opponent. Preseason is all about finding a rhythm as we prepare for the season."
Despite falling 2-0 against the Quakers, today's match provided a good learning experience for the Bruins.
Following today's game, Coach Fulton said "we left this game with many positives as well as opportunities to grow. I am excited for this group to start clicking as a team and we will work hard to continue to build for the regular season."
The men's soccer program will round out preseason play with a final tuneup against Atlantis University on August 30. The Bruins will then take their talents to Raleigh, North Carolina on September 2 where they will kick off the 2022 regular season against Shaw University.
