Following a successful road game, the Bob Jones University men's soccer team is back home at Alumni Stadium Saturday night as they host Toccoa Falls College to kick off region play.
The Bruins look to improve upon their 1-3-1 record as they come into the weekend fresh off of their first win of the season. On Tuesday, Victor Muenapale, Zawadi Kashindi and Micah Hennegan each recorded a goal in the 3-0 victory over the Barons.Â
It's been a tough start to the year for Toccoa Falls College as they enter the weekend with a 0-5-1 record. Most recently, they were shutout by LaGrange College who hit the back of the net four times in the second half to claim the 5-0 win.Â
The South Region Rivalry between the Bruins and Screaming Eagles began in back in 2012. Through 13 previous meetings the Bruins have come away undefeated scoring 65 goals against Toccoa Falls while only allowing four goals against in the 10 year span. Â
Saturday's South Region match is set to kickoff at 7 p.m. from Alumni Stadium.
