For the first time since 2018, the Bob Jones University men's soccer team will take on Brevard College in their 2022 home opener on Saturday, September 10 at 7:30 p.m.
The Bruins come into the weekend 0-1 after falling in their season opener to Concord University. Mario Figueroa scored the opening 18 minutes into the game, but some mistakes later in the game proved costly as the Bruins lost 2-1 to the Mountain Lions.
Brevard College is also looking for their first win of the season as they enter Saturday's game 0-3 on the year. The Tornados have been shutout in their last two matches falling 2-0 to Carolina University on September 3 followed by a 3-0 loss at Oglethorpe on September 7.
The last time the two schools met was in 2018 where the Bruins tried for a second half rally but came up short in the 3-1 loss.
