After notching back to back wins, the Bruins basketball team is back in action on Saturday as the team welcomes Toccoa Falls College to the Davis Field House. The Bruins climbed back to .500 on the season at 5-5 after defeating Piedmont University 53-50 on Monday. Henry Blair led the way for the Bruins with 16 points and 5 rebounds in the win.
The Bruins welcome Toccoa Falls College as the Screaming Eagles enter the game at 4-6 on the season and are on the heels of back to back losses. The Bruins and Screaming Eagles enjoy a long tradition of competition with Saturday's game being the 20th among the two teams in their history. The Bruins own a 16-3 margin against TFC.
Last season, the Bruins saw their 11-game winning streak against Toccoa Falls snapped on February 14 as the team fell to the Screaming Eagles 67-59 in Toccoa, Georgia. Three players scoring in double-figures for the Bruins but the team came up short in the road loss.
