The Bruins look to bounce back after a tough region loss on Saturday as the team travels to Demorest, Georgia, for a matchup with Piedmont University on Tuesday night. The Bruins fell back to .500 on the season snapping a three-game losing streak with a 64-56 loss to Pensacola Christian College on Saturday.
The Bruins struggled from the field shooting just 34% as a team and 26% from beyond the arc. Stephan Hugley led the Bruins with a double-double 17 points and 13 rebounds in the loss.
On Tuesday, the Bruins will face Piedmont University for the second time this season. The team made history against the Lions in their last matchup after defeating Piedmont 53-50 in the Davis Field House on January 9. This marked the first victory over Piedmont in program history.
