The Bruins will be back in action on Saturday as the team plays a South region matchup against Johnson University (FL) in Kissimmee, Florida. The Bruins come into the game on the heels of a loss to Webber International University on Wednesday.
Although the Bruins rebounded from an early deficit against Webber, their comeback hopes came up short in an 85-72 loss dropping their record to 3-5 on the season. Henry Blair led the way with 24 points while Brian Sims finished with 20 points and 6 rebounds.
On Saturday, the Bruins will play their third South region game of the season as the team is 1-1 in region play this year. Johnson University (FL) enters Saturday's game at 1-1 in region play as the team fell to Toccoa Falls but defeated Trinity College (FL). The Suns are 1-11 on the season and have dropped six straight.
This will be the 11th meeting between the Bruins and Suns with BJU owning a 9-1 record against JUFL. Last season, the Bruins edged the Suns in both of the matchups during the season before defeating JUFL in last year's South region championship.
