The road trip continues for the men's soccer team as they make their way to Montgomery, Alabama for a Tuesday tilt against Huntingdon College.
The Bruins travel to Alabama off of a weekend match in Pensacola, Florida against NCCAA South Region rival Pensacola Christian College. On Saturday, the Bruins and Eagles played to a 0-0 draw to come into the week with a 8-3-2 season record. In Saturday's game, the Bruins maintained control for most of the match and outshot the Eagles 17-11, but weren't able to get the ball into the back of the net resulting in the first tie in the BJU vs PCC soccer series.
Through 13 games played this season, Huntingdon has only finished with three wins as they sit at 3-9-1 on the year. Over the weekend, the fell in a 4-1 decision to Berea College to go 2-4 at home.
Tuesday's match will mark the second meeting between the Bruins and the Hawks. The two programs first met on September 15, 2021 where Victor Oladipo bagged a hat trick to propel the Bruins to a 3-1 victory.
Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Tuesday at the Samford Soccer Complex in Montgomery, Alabama.
