The Bruins are ready for another South region showdown as the team travels to Toccoa, Georgia, on Thursday night for a matchup with Toccoa Falls College. The Bruins enter the game on the heels of back to back losses as the team sits at 8-9 on the season and 3-3 in region play.
The Bruins and Screaming Eagles met on January 14 where Toccoa Falls defeated BJU for the first time at the Davis Field House in the history of this rivalry. The Bruins struggled from three-point range and shot just 50% from the free throw line as a team as the Bruins fell 61-58.
Since then, the Bruins had rebounded with a three-game winning streak but the team has suffered two straight tough losses to Pensacola Christian College and Piedmont University.
Toccoa Falls enters Thursday's matchup at 8-7 on the season but the Screaming Eagles have been red hot of late winning four straight games. Thursday's game will be the 21st meeting between BJU and Toccoa Falls with the Bruins owning a 16-4 record.
The Screaming Eagles have won the last two matchups between the two programs and the Bruins will look to rectify that as the two teams take the court on Thursday night in the Lois Delany Athletic Center in Toccoa, Georgia.
Tip-off for the game is scheduled for 7 p.m.
