With just three games remaining in the regular season, the Bruins basketball team looks to finish strong as the team will be on the road Saturday for a South region matchup against Trinity Baptist College. The Bruins come into Jacksonville this weekend at 9-11 on the season and 3-5 in region play.
The Bruins snapped a four-game losing streak on Tuesday as the team turned in a dominant performance to defeat Warren Wilson College 110-91 in the Davis Field House. Trevor Brunson led the Bruins with 36 points while Henry Blair finished with 31 in the win.
Trinity Baptist enters the weekend at 13-8 on the season having won three of their last four games. Earlier this season, the Bruins and Eagles met in Greenville as the Bruins upset Trinity 81-76. Four players scored in double-figures for the Bruins with Henry Blair leading the way with 21 points and 5 rebounds in the win.
