The Bruins basketball team looks to bounce back as the team welcomes Warren Wilson College to the Davis Field House on Tuesday night. The Bruins enter the game having dropped four straight including back to back South region losses this past week as the team sits at 8-11 on the season and 2-4 in South region play.
On Saturday, the Bruins battled hard but came up short in an 82-80 loss to Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Florida. Henry Blair led the Bruins with 25 points in the loss.
Warren Wilson College enters Tuesday's game at 5-15 on the season. The Bruins and Owls last met on January 17 where the Owls defeated BJU 84-69 in Asheville, North Carolina, snapping the Bruins four-game winning streak against the Owls. Henry Blair led the scoring for the Bruins with 24 points in that game while Stephan Hugley had a monster game with 15 points and 18 rebounds.
The win sparked a run for the Owls as the team went on to win three of their next four games. Warren Wilson notched another win on Sunday as the team defeated Regent University 79-72.
Tuesday's matchup will be the 16th meeting between the Bruins and Owls with BJU posting an 8-7 record against Warren Wilson. Tip-off for the game is set for 7 p.m. as the Bruins look to get back on track with just four games remaining in the regular season.
