The men's soccer team is back at Alumni Stadium for their first of two home games this week as they host Erskine College Tuesday evening in Greenville, South Carolina.
The Bruins enter the new week 0-2-1 and still looking for their first win of the season. Over the weekend they faced Southern Wesleyan University in a Saturday showdown where they fell in a 4-3 result. Rylan Boldt, Ian Arendse, and Victor Muenapale each tallied a goal in the loss. Following the game Coach Greg Fulton's message was "we build on the positives and we learn from the mistakes. We're three games into the season, but this is one that is going to sting for a bit."
Erskine College is also on the hunt for their first win as they come to Greenville with a 0-3 record. The Flying Fleet look to overcome a tough conference matchup where they fell 11-1 to Francis Marion University on Friday.
Tuesday's game will be the second meeting between the two schools. Last year, the Bruins shutout the Flying Fleet in a decisive 5-0 victory.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. from Alumni Stadium.
