The Bob Jones University men's soccer team is back on the road to open up conference play as they take on NCCAA South Region opponent Toccoa Falls College Tuesday night. The Bruins enter the new week 2-2-1 having won back-to-back home games last week.
Following Saturday night's match against Pfeiffer University, Head Coach Greg Fulton said he's taking the momentum into this week's games. "It's now two games in a row that we've won and we're back on winning ways," said Fulton. "We're also building confidence. Guys on the team are now understanding what we can be even though it wasn't perfect. We're going to take that into next week and try to set the tone for the region."
Toccoa Falls comes into match sitting on a three game losing slide after giving up 17 goals and being shutout in their last three contests.
The Bruins and Screaming Eagles have a long standing history as the first match between the two schools dates back September 25, 2012 during the Bruins inaugural season. In their 14 meetings, the Bruins have won each game scoring a total of 70 goals while only allowing four to slip past the Bob Jones defense.
Kickoff for Tuesday's game is scheduled for 7 p.m. from Toccoa Falls, Georgia.
