After two games on the road last week, the Bruins are back home at Alumni Stadium as they welcome Piedmont University to Bob Jones University on Tuesday. The Bruins look to continue their current four-game winning streak against a tough Piedmont team.
Last week, the Bruins offense exploded scoring 10 goals on Tuesday against NCCAA south region opponent Toccoa Falls College. On Saturday, the Bruins were up against a tough competitor at Greensboro College. The team battled for 90 minutes to get the 3-1 win and improve to 4-2-1 on the season.
Piedmont University travels to Greenville with a 2-3-3 season record. On Sunday, the Lions traveled to Raleigh, North Carolina where they played to a 1-1 draw against William Peace University.
The Bruins and Lions have met eight times over the last 11 years. The Bruins have only beat the Lions twice with those wins coming back in 2013 and 2014. Last year in Demorest, Georgia, the two teams battled to a 0-0 draw.
