The men's basketball team is back home at the Davis Field House. The Bruins open the week with another NCCAA South Region contest as they host Carolina Christian College at 5 p.m. from the Davis Field House on Tuesday.
The Bruins enter the week on a hot streak winning seven straight games dating back to December 15. Last week, the Bruins went 3-0 at home. They improved to 3-0 in region play with a 97-79 win over Toccoa Falls College on Tuesday. Friday's game against Pensacola Christian College saw an exciting game from start to finish. It came down to the wire, but a buzzer beater by Kenney Garrick sent the Bruins into the win column with a 64-63 result. It was like déjà vu on Saturday as a three pointer in the final seconds from Kenney Garrick once again pushed the Bruins ahead of New College of Florida to secure the 81-78 exhibition win.
As a new member of the NCCAA South Region, Carolina Christian College travels to Greenville 1-5 on the season. The Centurions picked up their first win on January 8 in a 93-76 game over Virginia University of Lynchburg.
Tuesday's game is only the third meeting between the Bruins and Centurions with the series even at 1-1. After falling in a tight 76-75 loss to Carolina Christian College in 2019, the Bruins finished ahead 78-67 in 2021.
Tip-off for Tuesday's game is scheduled for 5 p.m. at the Davis Field House.
