The Bruins (11-3) have been on a roll as of late, and look to continue that as they welcome NCCAA South Region opponent Trinity Baptist College to the Davis Field House on Thursday.
On Monday, the men's basketball team traveled to Asheville, North Carolina for a game against Warren Wilson where they came out on top 90-76. Monday's win extended their winning streak to 10 games, including two exhibition games.
The Trinity Baptist College Eagles make the trip to Greenville from Jacksonville, Florida 7-8 on the season after a 114-76 loss to St. Thomas University on Monday. Throughout the year, the Eagles have picked up wins against Pensacola Christian College, Toccoa Falls College, and Trinity College of Florida to sit at 3-4 in region play.
Across 12 years of competition, the Bruins hold the 11-6 series record against the Eagles. The two region rivals met earlier this year at the beginning of January in Jacksonville, Florida where Bob Jones battled to an 88-76 victory. That game marked the first region competition of the season for the Bruins and since then, they have worked to hold a perfect 6-0 region record.
The Bruins look to put in a solid performance on Thursday to begin their final month of the season. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. from the Davis Field House.
