The Bob Jones University men's basketball team opens the new year on the road as they travel to Jacksonville, Florida for a regional matchup against Trinity Baptist College on Saturday.
The Bruins enter the new year 4-3 after picking up a big 101-91 victory over Huntingdon College back on December 15 while the Eagles look to break a four game losing slide as they come into their first game of the year 3-4.
With their first meeting dating back to October 2012, BJU owns the series with a 10-6 record against TBC. Last season, the Bruins and Eagles split the series. After the Bruins took the first win of 2023, the Bruins fell short in a 63-52 loss to the Eagles.
Saturday's game will mark the first of two regular season meetings between the two programs this year. Tip-off is scheduled from 4 p.m. from Jacksonville, Florida.
