The Bruins begin their regional trek as they face Toccoa Falls College tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. in Pensacola, Florida.
When the Bruins and Screaming Eagles played each other earlier this season, it was all Bruins. In the 8-0 route, eight different Bruins players scored and they out-shot the Screaming Eagles 27-3. The Bruins, however, are putting that aside and treating this like a whole new matchup knowing that teams will bring their best when the season is on the line.Â
If they come away with a win against Toccoa Falls, they will play either Trinity Baptist College or host Pensacola Christian College on Saturday, November 9 at 2:00 p.m. for the NCCAA DII South Region Championship. The Bruins have beaten both of these teams this season as well. A regional final between the Bruins and Pensacola Eagles would be a rematch of last year's final where the Eagles won and even went on to win the national championship.
