Bruins Fall to Scots

The Bruins fall to the Scots to begin their weekend on the road with a final score of 96-84.

In the first half, the Bruins nearly dominated to the point that many thought they would run away with it. At one point in time, the Bruins held a 26 point lead in which the Scots brought down to 11 at halftime. The Scots pressed most of the game and subbed 3-5 players regularly to keep the pressure high. The Bruins were able to beat it and make some wide open shots in the first half, but the Scots capitalized in the second half.

The Scots had two separate 11-0 runs in the second half, one to get back into the game, and one to extend a lead. Simply put, the shots just didn't fall for the Bruins like they did in the first half where they shot 51% which decreased down to 30%. The Scots also had 10 players have double-digit minutes

Trevor Brunson had a great offensive night scoring 27 points while shooting 52% followed by Tostadas Pouncey scoring 16. Shad Vander Hart added to his rebound totals tonight with 13.

The Bruins stay in Lookout Mountain, Georgia where they play tomorrow against the Asbury University Eagles looking for the first program win over them. Tip-off is scheduled for noon!
