The Bruins begin a NCCAA South Region road trip in Laurel, Mississippi with a game Southeastern Baptist College. BJU (14-3) makes the trip looking to keep up their winning ways. Through eight conference played, the Bruins have come out victorious in each of them.
On January 26, Southeastern Baptist traveled to Greenville for their first meeting this season where the Bruins picked up a 80-61 victory.Â
Thursday is bound to be a tough contest between the Bruins and Chargers. Despite the Chargers holding a 4-15 record on the year, the team sits 4-2 in conference play. The only two region losses for Southeastern came in back-to-back games against the Bruins and Toccoa Falls College. Last Friday in Pensacola, Florida, the Chargers finished with an impressive comeback to go on a 21-1 run to overtake Pensacola Christian College 60-39.Â
Thursday's game marks the ninth meeting between the two NCCAA South Region schools with BJU owning the 6-2 record.Â
