The Bruins are on the road this weekend in Laurel, Mississippi to take on south region opponent Southeastern Baptist College in an early-season region showdown.

This is the second game of the season for the new Bruins squad, and it's a good opportunity to get in the win column. The Bruins are coming off a season-opener loss at Montreat College where they fell 91-71 even after Shad Vander Hart and Brandon Wilkins both scored 20 or more.

In the all-time series, the Bruins are 7-3 after winning last year's game in a lopsided 93-45 victory. The last time they played in Laurel, though, resulted in a frustrating loss in the 2023-24 season.

This game presents the same situation for the Chargers who are also looking for their first win after an opening loss.
