February 13 vs. Trinity Baptist College
Time: 7 p.m.
Location: Greenville, SC
Watch
The South Region is very tight coming down the stretch of the regular season and the Bruins can put themselves in a good position for the one-seed in the upcoming regional tournament if they can win their home meeting against the Trinity Baptist College Eagles.
The Bruins are getting hot at the right time having won six games in a row coming into this one. Their last game was Saturday, February 8 where they dominated the Carolina Christian College Centurions. Eight Bruins scored in double figures and Devin Pope continued to lead the team in scoring overall.
The last time these two teams met was only a couple weeks ago in Jacksonville. The Bruins clawed through that tough game on the road for a 93-88 win. Pope scored 28 points followed by Shad Vander Hart and Wilkins both scoring 15. On the defensive side, Trevor Pittman was an absolute force stealing it away six times.
If the Bruins win this game, they can go on the road this weekend to Pensacola and secure the one-seed with another win. They control their own destiny and it starts tomorrow as the Bruins host the TBC Eagles in the Davis Field House at 7:00 p.m.
