The Bruins are set to host the Carolina Christian College Centurions at the Davis Field House for an afternoon Senior Day celebration.
In the all-time matchup, the Bruins own a 3-1 record against the Centurions with their last win being a forfeit win last season. Earlier last season, however, the Bruins came away with a blowout 97-64 victory. Trevor Brunson had quite the game shooting 8-9 from the field and 5-5 from the free throw line which led to scoring 22 points. The aggressive Bruins offense were able to score 66 points in the paint.
It has been a week since the last time the Bruins played. They are coming off of a big win on the road against region opponent Trinity Baptist College. Devin Pope tied his career high with 28 points while also grabbing 12 rebounds. Shad Vander Hart added to the Bruins efforts with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
The Senior Day recognition will be before the game starts. Those being recognized are Tostadas Pouncey, Trevor Brunson, Devin Dean, Josh Dorsey, and Devin Pope.
After the deserved recognition, the game is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m. in the Davis Field House!Â
