At Bob Jones University, the athletic department is home to a unique bond that extends beyond the locker room. Thirty-three student-athletes representing 16 families join forces as sibling athletes across seven Bruins teams. 

Whether on the soccer field, basketball and volleyball court, track or baseball field, these student-athletes share a special connection that sets them apart.

"I'd say it's cool playing with my brother, but it's not. It just feels normal because we've been on the same teams our whole lives whether it's soccer, basketball, or baseball," said baseball player Gabe Gearhart.

Track and field athlete, Jeremiah Medrano, shared what it's like to see him and his brother, Elijah, competing at the college level at the same university. "We've always competed at the same time in our sports, and to carry that on through college is cool," he said.
