The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) has awarded Bob Jones University the Presidential Award for Excellence for the 2024-25 academic year.
This all-sports award is given based on a program's finish in each sport over the course of the season at the national championships with the award presented to the top program in the NCCAA. This is the ninth straight year the Bruins Athletic Department has earned the award in the program's thirteen-year existence.
Throughout the 2024-25 year, the Bruins saw much success with three NCCAA DII National Championships and one individual championship earned.
In the fall, the men's cross country team continued their dominant run as the program won its ninth straight national title at the national race in Warsaw, Indiana. After a hard-fought season, the women's soccer team staked their claim atop the country in NCCAA Division II with their seventh national title. The men's soccer team made it back to the national stage and finished their season earning the program's fourth national championship.
Women's cross country, volleyball, and the men's basketball teams also contributed points towards the Presidential Award standings following their participation at their national tournaments.
The Bruins closed out the school year with an individual championship win by track and field athlete, Joshua Landry in the javelin throw at the outdoor track and field national championship.
Bob Jones finished with 59 total points to finish on top of the standings with Crown College close behind with 43 points on the year. Final standings for the NCCAA Presidential Award for Division II programs can be found
