Before heading down to Pensacola for the weekend rivalry matchup, the Bruins are making a stop in Graceville, Florida to face off against new region opponent Baptist University of Florida (BUF) for the first time ever.

The Bruins could be up against a dark horse in the region as they play the Eagles tomorrow night. BUF is coming off of an astounding 99-65 victory over Pensacola Christian College. The Bruins, though, have gotten hot as of late with five straight region wins. They have the opportunity for seven straight this weekend.

On Saturday, the Bruins will step into arguably the loudest environment in the region as they play Pensacola for another rivalry classic. Last time the two teams played was January 17 in Greenville as the Bruins won 88-71. Justin Skelton led all scorers with 25 points and established himself as one of the best players in the NCCAA this season. 

Shad Vander Hart is quietly sneaking his way into the region player of the year conversation as he has been averaging 20 points and 12 rebounds over his last several games. He and the rest of the team have a big weekend ahead, and it all starts tomorrow as the Bruins go against the Baptist University of Florida Eagles at 7:00 p.m. in Graceville.
