After a high-scoring affair against Newberry College Tuesday night, the Bruins are now headed to Jacksonville, Florida to take on the Trinity College of Jacksonville Eagles for their first NCCAA DII South Region match of the season.

The Bruins have dominated the all-time series with a 13-3-2 record winning the last 12 meetings between the programs. In those 12 matches, the Bruins have outscored the Eagles by a combined score of 51-4. The last time the Bruins and Eagles met, however, was a very tight match all the way to the very end. The Bruins were able to pull out a 3-2 win in the semifinal of the region tournament after Bryce Ramler, who now serves as an assistant coach, scored in the 83rd minute.

This will be the Eagles' second region match of the season, because they're last match was a week ago against the University of Toccoa Falls. That match ended in a 2-2 draw.

A win tomorrow is vitally important for the Bruins' region tournament seeding down the road. The match begins at 11:30 a.m. in Jacksonville, Florida.
