Keith Champion

Keith Champion joined the Bruins basketball staff as an assistant coach in September of 2018 .His responsibilities include mentoring players, assisting coaches during practices and games, making recruiting contacts and coaching the Varsity Reserve team. He will also help out as an instructor with the Bruins summer basketball camps.
 
Coach Champion has over 50 years of involvement in athletics, with over 40 years coach and twenty-six of those years coaching at the Christian college level. Coach Champion has conducted over 70 basketball camps in 15 states, as well as going on 6 basketball mission's trips to foreign countries. He is a five time Region or Conference Coach of the Year honoree and in 2011, he was inducted into the NCCAA Hall of Fame.
 
He believes that coaching is a tool to help athletes grow in their relationship to Christ and to teach them how they can use their talents to impact others for eternity.
 
Coach Champion has been married to his wife Judy for 50 years and they have six children.
