Ken Roach

Ken Roach joined the Bruins Cross Country and Track & Field staff in 2021. In his career, Coach Roach has led teams to a NACA HS National Championship, four Independent HS Championships, and four collegiate appearances in the NJCAA National XC Championships.  

Coach Roach’s athletic experience includes serving as the Head Coach at Spartanburg Panthers USATF Track Club, Carolina Homeschool Cougars and Spartanburg Methodist College. Roach also launched a non profit Youth Running League, Inc in 2012 for youth cross country runners ages 1st through 6th grade. Roach is a USATF Certified Level III Endurance | IAAF Master Coach Coach, USATF Level II Sprints | Combined Events.  
 
Through his years as head coach, Coach Roach's focus has been connecting the playing field to life building discipline of working consistency and improvement while also understanding growth in God's word and his promising abundance takes the same discipline.       
 
Coach Roach lives in Spartanburg with his wife, Lisa , son Cray, and two daughters Caralise and Kaleigh.
