Tony Miller was named the third head coach in the Bruins men’s basketball history in August of 2025. He previously served as the Director of Basketball Operations under Coach Neal Ring and then as an assistant coach for Coach Burton Uwarow.
As a member of the coaching staff, the Bruins have won 5 NCCAA South Region championships and made 6 appearances at NCCAA National Championships. During his tenure, Miller has coached four 1st team NCCAA All-Americans, 10 NCCAA All-Americans, five NCCAA South Region Players of the Year, and 23 NCCAA South Region All-Region players.
Miller earned a doctorate in Sports Management from the United States Sports Academy in 2014. He also has two degrees from Bob Jones University – a bachelor's degree in Health, Fitness, & Recreation and a master's degree in Secondary Education.
Tony and his wife, Kerstin, have three children – Barrett, Blythe, and Elin.
