After a tough road loss on Tuesday night, the Lady Bruins volleyball team will be on the road again on Thursday as they face Erskine College in Due West, South Carolina. The Bruins come into the match at 4-4 after falling in a five-set match to Toccoa Falls College on Tuesday night.
The Flying Fleet are playing just two exhibitions this fall season with both being against the Bruins. Thursday's match will be the first of the two meetings with the two teams also playing on October 30 in Greenville.
This will be the third meeting between the two programs with each program recording a win against the other in their history. Last season, the Bruins defeated the Flying Fleet 3-1 as Victoria Glaze led the Bruins with 17 kills and 7 digs in the win.
The Flying Fleet finished the 2019 season at 11-22 overall and fell in the NCCAA DI South Regional Tournament to Piedmont International to end their season. Tip-off for Thursday's match is scheduled for 5 p.m. at Belk Arena.
