The Lady Bruins volleyball team will be back home on Friday night as the team hopes to snap a three-match losing streak in welcoming Pensacola Christian College to the Davis Field House.
The Bruins enter the match at 4-5 on the season after losses to Toccoa Falls College and Erskine College this past week. The Eagles enter Friday's match at 8-5 but are riding a four-game losing streak with their most recent losses coming in a tri-match on October 16.
This will be the 13th meeting between the two programs with the Bruins owning an 11-1 record against the Eagles. Last season, the Bruins defeated the Eagles 3-1 at home on September 6 as Victoria Glaze had 17 kills and 13 digs in the win.
The two teams then met again in the NCCAA DII South Region Championship where the Bruins swept the Eagles 3-0 as Katherine Ring made 15 kills and Brooke Beaver added 10 to give the Bruins their fourth-straight south region title.
Tip-off for Friday's match is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Davis Field House as the next chapter of this rivalry is set to be written.
