The Bruins volleyball team will welcome Johnson University (TN) and Brewton-Parker College for a home tri-match on Saturday. The Bruins come into the match on the heels of a match against Pensacola Christian College on Friday night.
Earlier this season, the Bruins fell short in Knoxville, Tennessee, in a five-set loss to Johnson University (TN) on October 3. After dropping the first set, the Bruins stormed back to win sets two and three but came up short in the loss. Victoria Glaze had a dominant performance with 21 kills and 13 digs in that match. The Royals enter Saturday's match at 8-1 on the season with tip-off set for 12 p.m. at the Davis Field House.
In the second match of the day, the Bruins will face Brewton-Parker College for the first time this season. In their history, the Bruins have a 3-1 record against the Barons including a 3-0 sweep last season in Greenville. The Barons come into the match on Saturday after back to back losses to College of Coastal Georgia and Life University. Tip-off for the match is set for 4 p.m.
