The Lady Bruins will be on the road on Friday evening as the team will face Johnson University (TN) in Knoxville, Tennessee. The match was originally scheduled earlier in the season but the game was postponed due to COVID precautions.
The Bruins come into the match at 4-6 on the season after falling to Brewton-Parker College 2-1 earlier this week. Hannah Johnston gave the Bruins the go-ahead goal early in the match before the Barons responded with two goals to rally and win the match.
The Royals come into Friday's match at 3-4 on the season after falling to Midway 1-0 on October 27. The Bruins head to Knoxville where they will face the Royals of JU for the fifth time in program history. The Bruins own a 4-0 record against Johnson including winning 8-0 last season. The Bruins scored six second-half goals en route to a shutout of the Royals.
With just three games remaining in the regular season, the Bruins hope to come away with a win on the road as kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
