The Bruins will play their second pool play match of the NCCAA DI National Tournament on Tuesday afternoon as they face #2 seeded Dallas Baptist University in Kissimmee, Florida.
The Bruins come into the match on the heels of a tough loss on Monday in which the team fell to #3 Campbellsville University 2-1. Mia Marks scored the go-ahead goal in the match but the Tigers came back with two unanswered goals to win the match.
The DBU Patriots opened the pool play round with a dominant performance as they scored nine first-half goals en route to blanking #7 Carolina University 15-0. Jenna Patterson led the Patriots with two goals and two assists in the win.
This will be the second of three pool play matches with the winners of each pool advancing to compete in the national championship on Saturday. Kickoff for the match between the Bruins and Patriots is set for 12 p.m.
